Grund daf\u00fcr ist allerdings nicht ihre Nutzung f\u00fcr die Weinherstellung, sondern die Verwendung f\u00fcr <\/strong><a href=\"\/magazin\/weinwissen\/cognac-brandy-co-wenn-wein-zur-spirituose-wird\/\"><strong>Cognac und Armagnac<\/strong><\/a><strong>. In der Gascogne entstehen daraus aber auch leichte, frische Wei\u00dfweine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Woher stammt Ugni Blanc?<\/h2>\n<p>Obwohl der Name auf eine Herkunft aus Frankreich schlie\u00dfen l\u00e4sst, stammt Ugni Blanc aus Italien, genauer gesagt aus der <a href=\"\/magazin\/weinwissen\/weinanbau-in-der-toskana\/\">Toskana<\/a>, in der die Rebsorte als Trebbiano Toscano wegen des hohen Ertrags bereits im 14. Jahrhundert bekannt und \u00e4u\u00dferst beliebt war. Im selben Jahrhundert wurde sie durch den p\u00e4pstlichen Hof in Avignon auch nach Frankreich eingef\u00fchrt.<\/p>\n<h2>Die Eigenschaften von Ugni Blanc<\/h2>\n<p>Ugni Blanc ist \u2013 wie erw\u00e4hnt \u2013 eine sehr ertragreiche Rebsorte, die \u00fcber eine gute Resistenz gegen Echten Mehltau und Grauf\u00e4ule verf\u00fcgt. Die daraus entstehenden Weine besitzen in aller Regel einen niedrigen <a href=\"\/magazin\/weinwissen\/freund-oder-feind-zuviel-alkohol-im-wein\/\">Alkoholgehalt<\/a>, wenig Extrakt und eine straffe <a href=\"\/magazin\/weinwissen\/saeuregehalt-im-wein-der-schluessel-zu-geschmack-und-qualitaet\/\">S\u00e4ure<\/a>. Die Aromatik der Wein aus Ugni Blanc ist zur\u00fcckhaltend. Daher eignet sich die Rebsorte nicht besonders gut f\u00fcr reinsortige Weine.<\/p>\n<h2>Ugni Blanc: wie gemacht f\u00fcr Cognac und Armagnac<\/h2>\n<p>Ihr hoher Ertrag und der recht neutrale Geschmack machen die Rebsorte Ugni Blanc allerdings ideal f\u00fcr die Herstellung von Destillaten. So ist Ugni Blanc mit 90 % Anteil die mit Abstand wichtigste Rebsorte f\u00fcr das Brennen von Cognac. Aber auch der franz\u00f6sische Brandy Armagnac vertraut ma\u00dfgeblich auf Ugni Blanc. Allerdings wird die Rebsorte hierbei \u2013 etwas irref\u00fchrend \u2013 Saint-\u00c9milion genannt. Allerdings kommt hier Ugni Blanc selten reinsortig zum Einsatz, sondern meist gemeinsam mit anderen Rebsorten in einer <a href=\"\/magazin\/weinwissen\/bordeaux-cuvee-eine-erfolgsgeschichte\/\">Cuv\u00e9e<\/a>. Dabei \u00fcbernimmt Ugni Blanc den Part als Frischelieferant besonders gut.<\/p>\n<h2>Wo wird Ugni Blanc \u00fcberall angebaut?<\/h2>\n<p>Neben der starken, wenn auch r\u00fcckl\u00e4ufigen Verbreitung in Frankreich, wird Ugni Blanc als Trebbiano Toscano in ganz Italien angebaut. Hier wird die Rebsorte in Wei\u00dfwein-Verschnitten in diversen DOC- und DOCG-Gebieten genutzt. Neben weiteren Rebfl\u00e4chen in ganz Europa, vor allem im \u00f6stlichen Teil, existiert eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Verbreitung von Ugni Blanc in <a href=\"\/magazin\/weinwissen\/weinland-argentinien\/\">Argentinien<\/a> und auch in <a href=\"\/magazin\/weinwissen\/weinland-china\/\">China<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"product-slider\"
