Namensgebend ist wahrscheinlich die Gemeinde Cesano, in der N\u00e4he der Hauptstadt. Cesanese wurde bereits im 16. Jahrhundert erw\u00e4hnt und die Rebsorte erbringt fruchtbetonte Weine, mit Ankl\u00e4ngen von Gew\u00fcrzen. In Hinblick auf die Gesamtrebfl\u00e4che ist Cesanese eine vergleichsweise seltene Rebsorte.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die qualitativ beste Variante von Cesanese ist unter der Bezeichnung Cesanese d\u2018Affile bekannt, die auch namensgebend f\u00fcr einen <a href=\"\/magazin\/frag-die-weinfreunde\/was-bedeutet-doc\/\">DOC-Bereich<\/a> ist (siehe unten). Sie gibt es nur geringf\u00fcgig h\u00e4ufiger als den etwas schlichteren Cesanese Comune, der gr\u00f6\u00dfere Beeren besitzt und auch als Bonvino Nero bekannt ist. Die Gesamtanbaufl\u00e4che von Cesanese betrug im Jahr 2016 lediglich 446 Hektar, mit r\u00fcckl\u00e4ufiger Tendenz.<\/p>\n<h2>Wo wird der Wein Cesanese hergestellt?<\/h2>\n<p>Der sp\u00e4t reifende, ertragreiche Cesanese wird haupts\u00e4chlich in der italienischen Region Latium (Lazio) angebaut. Innerhalb des Latiums sind die Provinzen Rom und Frosinone besonders bekannt f\u00fcr Weine dieser Rebsorte und es werden beide der genannten Varianten genutzt. Wie die kleine Gesamtrebfl\u00e4che bereits vermuten l\u00e4sst, werden Cesanese-Weine prim\u00e4r von Weing\u00fctern produziert, die sich auf den Erhalt von alten und traditionellen Rebsorten spezialisiert haben. Auch der Konsum von Wein aus Cesanese findet gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils in der Region selbst statt. Der Duft des Weins erinnert an rote Fr\u00fcchte wie Sauerkirschen und Himbeeren, zeigt aber auch w\u00fcrzige Elemente, die an Pfeffer und Piment erinnern. Gelegentlich sind auch florale Nuancen zu entdecken, etwa von Veilchen. Die Weine k\u00f6nnen je nach Stil und Ausbau variieren, von leicht und frisch bis zu kr\u00e4ftig und satt strukturiert. Cesanese wird meist reinsortig zu Wein verarbeitet, es existieren aber auch Cuv\u00e9es, in der die Rebsorte enthalten ist. Cesanese Wein passen hervorragend zu Pasta, gegrilltem Fleisch und w\u00fcrzigen K\u00e4sesorten.<\/p>\n<h2>Zu welcher Region geh\u00f6rt die DOC Cesanese di Affile?<\/h2>\n<p>Erwartungsgem\u00e4\u00df geh\u00f6rt die DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata) Cesanese di Affile zur Region Lazio. Genauer gesagt ist diese DOC im \u00f6stlichen Teil des Latiums angesiedelt, in der Provinz Frosinone. Hier d\u00fcrfen nur Cesanese-Weine der hochwertigen Klon-Variante Cesanese d&#8217;Affile hergestellt werden \u2013 mit mindestens 90 % Anteil. Zudem m\u00fcssen strenge Qualit\u00e4tskriterien erf\u00fcllen, um die DOC-Klassifizierung zu erhalten.
